After 7 days discovering Rome this was by far the best dinner we had. We started with beef carpaccio and for mains we had the best steak and vegetables and finished with a hazelnut tiramisu. The food was beyond perfect and service was extraordinary.

Cosy basement restaurant with a tight stair entry. All staff were friendly and service was prompt. I had an amazing Prussian eye fillet which was unforgettable! All side dishes and our starter of eggplant flan was great. Im not a usual eggplant person. The other dishes of carbonara were great too! I will highly recommend!

From the street you go down in a cellar like welcoming dining room . The ambiance is very nice , the service friendly and efficient and the food is a real pleasure . The meats are exceptional and all the dishes are made with originality and refinement . Highly recommended .

This is my 1st review I’ve ever done. And the only reason I feel like I must is to save anyone reading this and prevent you from flushing your money away. This was the WORST meal I had in Italy. My pasta was undercooked, and actually crunched.. The service was non-helpful, and actually made you feel like they were screwing you over by over-charging you in not telling you the price of what you were ordering. The steak given to me, didn’t look NOTHING like the steak i chose, and was served RAW on the majority of it. I didn’t finish ANY of my courses, and nobody asked how it was. Or if we liked it. It baffles me, how they’re in the 4’s. If you’re not a foodie, and you got wads of money, have at it. But if you like good food, its not here.

This hidden restaurant gives me cozy feeling. Food was great 👍 even though I personally think steak is overpriced but overall it's good for money when food, service and place are great. Steak should've come with side dish but you have to order it separately and pay extra for it. Baguette with bolognese ragu was delicious. I like the spaghetti with white sauce. Steak was a little too rare for my liking but it wasn't chewy so it was okay for me. Tiramisu was yummy too. A bit pricey but definitely recommend. 👌

Pasta alla Gricia made in a pecorino cheese wheel - Simply amazing. The Carbonara pasta was phenomenal as well. The desserts are crazy good, especially the Tiramisu and the Jewish Cake. 100% recommend if you're in Rome. Intimate, relaxing place with chill music that also allows for conversation 😊

We arrived at around 8:30pm (after a concert) and were pleasantly surprised to see people still streaming in for their evening meal. The food was excellent from the well prepared carpaccio and pastas to the main event, the T-bone steak. We loved the steak despite having already gorged ourselves silly on bistecca in Florence which speaks volumes as to the quality of the meat, although I do note that there was a fair bit of gristle which I eventually cut off. Overall an excellent experience. Service was also efficient and accommodating to us tourists.
